Hello ACA Members and Friends and Happy New Year,

We would like to remind you it is time to renew your membership for 2026 and that the ACA scholarship application period is now open. Scholarship application information can be found on our website. Applications should be submitted either in-person at Chinese School by 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd, or online by 11:59 p.m. on January 25th.

We are getting ready for our upcoming Chinese New Year Celebration on February 15, 2026. We are pleased to announce that Iris Zhao, Xiaofeng Shen, Haixia Chai, dancers from the Chinese Friendship Association of Portland, Two Lions from White Lotus Dragon and Lion Dance of Portland, and Chris Garcia, (aka Draco the Juggler) a diabolo performer, will be performing this year, along with Kung Fu and Tai Chi demonstrations by WuTan Alaska and our own dragon dance team. 

Presale tickets for Chinese New Year are available for purchase. Tickets are limited and increase in price after January 15, 2026. We are also looking for volunteers to help with the event. Volunteering is a great way for students to satisfy scholarship criteria for next year's scholarship applications.

我們在此提醒大家，ACA獎學金申請現已開放。申請資訊可在我們的網站上找到。申請表須於1月23日晚上8點前親自提交至中文學校，或於1月25日晚上11點59分前在線提交。

我們正在籌備2026年2月15日舉行的春節慶祝活動。很高興地宣布: Iris Zhao、Xiaofeng Shen、Haixia Chai、中國人友誼協會的舞蹈演員、波特蘭白蓮龍獅團的兩頭舞獅以及空竹表演者Chris Garcia（又名Draco the Juggler）將參與今年的演出，此外還有阿拉斯加武壇的功夫和太極表演以及我們自己的舞龍隊表演。

春節慶祝活動的預售票現已開始販售。門票數量有限，1月15日後價格將上漲。我們也正在招募志工協助活動。志願服務是學生滿足明年獎學金申請條件的好方法。
