2026 Chinese New Years
Come ring in the new year with ACA as we celebrate Chinese New Years 2026! As we gallop into the Year of the Horse, we are filled with pride and excitement to also celebrate a historic milestone: the 50th Annual Chinese New Year Celebration in Alaska! For over 50 years, our Chinese New Year Celebration has brought together generations to honor tradition, culture, and community spirit. This signature event features vibrant performances, authentic cuisine, and the presentation of more than 20 scholarships to outstanding students who excel academically and culturally. In Chinese culture, the Horse represents strength, vitality, and progress—perfect symbols of our journey and our future. As we prepare for this special golden anniversary, we warmly invite you to join us in our celebration!

2025 Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival, observed on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, is a time-honored tradition celebrating the harvest. During this festival, it is customary to display and carry lanterns, as well as enjoy mooncakes. ACA is celebrating the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival on October 4th!
Midnight Sun Summer Send-Off Chess Tournament
Get ready to make your next move! The Alaska Chinese Association (ACA) and the Alaska Chess Federation (ACF) are partnering up for the Midnight Sun Summer Send-Off Chess Tournament this August!
